To create a smooth and flat sleeping surface, a micro quilted process is applied to the mattress by attaching its outer damask cover to the surface layers in a quilted pattern.
Traditional open coil springs make up the foundation of the mattress, whilst layers of hypo-allergenic fillings create an ideal sleeping environment for allergy sufferers.
At the core of the mattress is a strong open coil interior that consists of hourglass shaped springs, set in rows running from head to toe and connected into one single unit by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire.
It is designed to be one-sided and does not need to be flipped over; simply rotate it regularly for long-lasting comfort and support.
For ease of delivery, the Matrah Orthopaedic mattress will come to you vacuum packed in a roll. Once unpacked it will fill out to its full and permanent size within a couple of hours.
